Back home again on SATURDAY 6 April to play on my home ground The Jazz Centre UK for great friend JIM BAYNE, who directs Softpower Education; the wonderful charity that builds schools for young people in Uganda. Jim and I have been raising money for his Charity for fourteen years now. It’s an afternoon concert from 2-4pm; admission is £15.00 (all profits go to the charity) and as usual Jim has assembled an incomparable all-star cast including JULIAN MARC STRINGLE (reeds) KAREN SHARP (tenor/baritone) MARK NIGHTINGALE (trombone) NICK DAWSON (piano/vocals) DAVE GREEN (bass) and GEORGE DOUBLE (drums). I doubt if you could find a better band anywhere in Britain!
