It’s been a long time since KAREN SHARP began building her career with Humphrey Lyttelton’s band and Humph pronounced her as ‘a superb musician, fit and ready to take off’. Today she’s recognised internationally as one of the finest tenor saxophonist anywhere in or beyond Britain! Regularly partnering with the great Alan Barnes on all his projects she also leads her own superb quartet with Nikki Isles, Dave Green and Steve Brown, records regularly as a soloist, and also teams on-record and off with another of the Sands’ favourite guests , Rob Fowler! Tonight Karen joins Digby and the Rat Pack Trio: Tim Huskisson (piano) Roger Curphey (bass) and Alan Clarke (drums) and we hope you can join us!
