For the past few Sunday afternoons, once a month, pianist Professor Tim Huskisson and I have been playing intimate trumpet-piano duos for a handful of good friends at ‘Peggy Sue’s’; the sweet little club situated at 1063A London Rd, Leigh-on-Sea, Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea SS9 3JP. Well, beautiful Anita who runs the club has invited us to try our (four) hands at a couple of evening sessions and the first of them will be from 8-10.30 on Tuesday November 21st! So if you fancy some duo jazz – cool and hot – as a nice way to spend the evening why not join us? The club is gorgeous (though room is limited!); there’s a delightful bar, our hosts are lovely – and we have ball! So do come and join us to lose those midweek blues!
